The
first
stage
of
this
$80
million
Bunbury
Forum
redevelopment
saw
1,100
square
metres
of
retail
space
developed
and
the
introduction
of
new
national
high
profile
retailers
like
The
Body
Shop,
Dusk,
Dome
and
Brown
Sugar.
The
second
stage
of
Bunbury
Forum
already
has
the
approval
to
expand
to
31,000
square
metres
of
retail
floor
space.
Additional
to
the
already
approved
expansion,
Bunbury
Forum
is
now
seeking
approval
for
a
further
5,000
square
metres
of
retail
space.
Approval
for
this
extra
space
is
vital
as
negotiations
are
currently
underway
with
a
leading
national
department
store
to
become
the
anchor
for
the
Bunbury
Forum
redevelopment
that
will
see
the
addition
of a
further
65
speciality
stores
and
an
extended
three
level
car
park
with
an
additional
500
car
parking
bays.
The
expansion
of
Bunbury
Forum
will
benefit
the
entire
region
not
only
in
relation
to
retail
facilities,
but
also
from
an
employment
and
economic
development
perspective.
During
construction
the
redevelopment
will
create
over
300
jobs
plus
more
than
450
permanent
jobs
once
complete.
Bunbury
Forum
knows
that
people
living
in
the
South
West
expect
first
class
shopping
with
retailers
they
would
expect
to
find
in
any
other
major
city.
